This study explored the transformative impact of emerging pedagogies, particularly blended and experiential learning, on the delivery of accounting education curriculum in a pre-service teacher training institution. As rapid technological advancements evolve preparing teachers in higher education now requires a shift from traditional pedagogical approaches to increasingly supplemented innovative instructional strategies aimed at enhancing pre-service teachers’ engagement, practical skills, and critical thinking. Lately blended learning, which is the approach that combines face-to-face instruction with online digital content. On the other hand, there is experiential learning which emphasises hands-on, real-world experiences, bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing students for professional teaching challenges. This study borrowed one element from TPACK framework; Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) for understanding how teaching changes when specific technologies are used and Kolb’s (1984) Experiential Learning Theory (ELT) which provides four stages of learning. This qualitative study adopted interpretivist paradigm and case study research design. Four accounting education lecturers in a pre-service teacher training institution were purposively observed, and eight pre-service teachers were also purposively sampled for interviews in the Post Graduate Certificate in Education programme. Thematic analysis was utilised to analyse data obtained. Findings demonstrate that blended learning influences accounting education curriculum delivery by encouraging incorporation of diverse multimedia resources, enhances student engagement and foster practical teaching skills required in teaching field. The findings underscore the importance of strategic integration of blended and experiential learning to foster a dynamic, relevant, and engaging accounting education curriculum in pre-service teacher training institutions.
